An ADHD and Faith Workshop

Taking Off the Mask: Authenticity Doesn't Have to Be Scary

A free, faith-based workshop for women who are ready to be fully known and fully loved, just as God made them.

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.

John 15:4

Does Taking Off the Mask Feel Scary?

Maybe you’ve found yourself saying:

  1. What if people don't like the real me?

  2. What if I'm "too much," or not enough?

  3. I've masked so long, I'm not even sure who I am underneath.

  4. I feel like I have to have it all together to be a good Christian.

  5. Slowing down or admitting I'm struggling feels like failing.

It doesn't have to be scary, because...

  • You're already known and loved by God, masks and all.

  • Authenticity is a process, not a leap. You'll take small, safe steps.

  • You'll learn why we mask, so you can respond to yourself with understanding instead of shame.

  • You'll leave with practical tools for showing up as yourself at work, church, and home.

  • You'll be in a room with women who get it.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  1. An understanding of what masking is and why we do it

  2. Clarity on the masks you personally wear

  3. Practical tools for showing up authentically at work, church, and home

  4. A grace-centered way to respond to your own mistakes

  5. Connection with other women walking the same road

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis to attend?

No. Many women go years without a diagnosis, often because they've become so good at masking. This workshop is for women with ADHD, whether you've been formally diagnosed or you've been wondering for a while if ADHD might explain some of your experiences. If you've ever suspected it, you're welcome here.

Is this workshop therapy?

No. This is an educational workshop, not therapy or a substitute for individual mental health treatment. If you'd like ongoing support, we'll share how to connect with each of us afterward.

Will I have to share personal things in front of the group?

Only if you want to. There will be space for reflection and optional sharing, but no one will be put on the spot.

Is this workshop only for Christians?

The workshop is rooted in the Christian faith and includes scripture and prayer. Women of any background are welcome to attend, but please know that Christian faith will be woven throughout.

What if I'm not sure I "mask"?

That's okay. Many women don't realize how much they've been adjusting themselves until they start to notice it. This workshop will help you explore that gently, without pressure or labels.

What's included?

Light refreshments, a workbook, and a goodie bag to take home. Coffee is available for purchase from the cafe.

What should I bring?

A Bible or journal if you'd like. Everything else is provided.

This workshop is open to women 18 and older. We've intentionally created a women-only space so attendees can feel comfortable being open and authentic with one another.

Is this workshop open to everyone?

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely. Each person will need to register in advance, as seats are limited.
