Meet Bisi Gbadamosi, MS

You don't have to do it all alone.

Are you looking for someone you can relate to and feel seen by?

YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

I work with you to rewrite the narrative you've come to believe about who you are and what you're worth. Together we can change how you see life and yourself by diving into your story. We'll work to strengthen your mindset so you can increase your confidence in yourself and your ability to take control of your life. Through our time together you can learn how to process your feelings and make the best decisions possible for your overall health and well-being.

Blooming With Bisi

Growing up, I was taught that Bisi means Blessing, or Royal Blessing if you want to go with my full name of Adebisi.

Blooming With Bisi is more than just naming my business after myself.

Going by Bisi has never been done to make my name more palatable to non-Yoruba speakers (don't ask me about my last name though that's a different story).

It was done out of the traditions of my father's culture. Every part of my name has meaning. If I answer to Adebisi or Bisi, the name I go by is still intentional.

Through Blooming With Bisi, I hope that in whatever ways you engage with my work you walk away blessed as though something positive has been added to your life. That after every interaction, you leave changed for the better.

Bisi

(bee-see)

Language of Origin: Yoruba

1. Blessing.

2. To bring abundance.

3. To produce more.

My Approach

I believe that therapy is done best when it is integrative and holistic. Therapy is one hour a week. What we do during that hour, needs to be able to fit with your life outside of our sessions.

I like to do this by incorporating the things that speak to you into our session. Is there a certain song that perfectly describes what you're feeling? Did you see a TikTok that put into words what you're experiencing? Maybe your favorite TV character just went through something that hit a little too close to home. Let's work with it!

I have found that by painting a picture of what you're experiencing things click so much faster!  You start to get a better sense that you're being heard and that I can truly see where you're coming from. You know yourself better than I ever could. I come alongside you to help you see your strengths and move to your full potential!

Sometimes experience is the best teacher, and this is definitely true for me! Walking through painful circumstances can be lonely. Through working together, you can know you've got someone on your team that can relate.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
